Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Night Shift to provide direct patient care in a 12-hour shift from 7pm to 7:30am. This non-exempt role offers a competitive starting pay and potential signing bonus eligibility.

The RN will utilize the Nursing Process for a continuum of care, from admission to discharge, across developmental patient populations. MA licensure, BLS, and unit certifications are required, with BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of the discipline of Nursing.
• BLS is required for every RN; ACLS certification or equivalent is needed if current.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for the delivery and management of patient care from admission to discharge.
• Performs patient assessment and reassessment according to standard procedure.
• Develops and coordinates individual plan of care including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluates nursing care within the assigned clinical setting.
• Delegates appropriately to others in accordance with job description and competency level.
