Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred or current.
• BSN highly preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of the nursing discipline.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Nursing Process for direct patient care from admission to discharge.
• Perform patient assessment and reassessment per standard procedures.
• Develop and coordinate care plans including discharge planning.
• Direct, supervise, coordinate and evaluate nursing care in the unit.
• Delegate tasks appropriately according to competency and job description.
