Job summary

Southern Health Partners is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for the Tuscaloosa County Jail. This full-time night shift (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) offers a rotating schedule and the chance to provide compassionate care in a structured correctional setting. Sign-on and retention bonuses are available.

You will perform nursing assessments, administer medications, respond to emergencies, maintain accurate medical records, and collaborate with physicians to ensure continuity of care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a correctional healthcare setting
• Perform nursing assessments and monitor patient conditions
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Respond to medical emergencies and changes in patient condition
• Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding patient care
