Job summary

ExpertHiring is seeking a registered nurse to join our team in Seattle, WA, in a full-time NICU role. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality patient care, coordinate plans of care, and work within a collaborative inter-professional team to promote positive outcomes.

Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of patient needs, with emphasis on safety, ethics, and evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics upon hire.
  • 1 year of nursing experience in a NICU environment as a RN.

What you will be doing:
  • Apply specialized training to deliver world-class health with human connection.

  • Perform and maintain currency of essential competencies as required by specific area of hire and populations served.
  • Advocate for ethical and holistic care by partnering in care planning to promote autonomy, dignity, rights, values, and beliefs.
  • Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing, and other members of the healthcare team.
  • Facilitate formal and informal learning for patients/families, nursing, other members of the healthcare team, and community.
  • Align practice with safety and quality, identify and correct problems, and integrate evidence and best practice into nursing care.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and practice to the top of license within legal parameters.
  • Promote a culture of inquiry that explores, integrates, and disseminates research and evidence-based practice.
  • Lead and coordinate teams, appropriately delegate, coordinate care, and collaborate with others as equal members of the inter-professional care team.
Experience you will need:
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
