Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
• Monitor safety and department policies; communicate safety and compliance concerns to leadership.
• Document plan of care, care delivered, and patient/family outcomes.
• Provide structured patient and family education using teach-back techniques.
• Collaborate with department managers, nurse council and magnet representatives to share safety best practices.
• Participate in interprofessional practice and shared governance at point-of-care.
