Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Neuro PCU team at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa, FL.

The Neuro unit includes neuro medical and neuro surgical patients, part of a comprehensive stroke care team delivering high-quality patient outcomes. The RN will provide independent care using the nursing process, delegate tasks as needed, and participate in precepting and charge nurse duties.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma is required.
• RN license is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification if required by department.
• Nurse specialty certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently caring for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
• Professional accountability and development.
• Performing the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.
