Job summary

BayCare – St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa, FL seeks a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac unit. The RN will provide direct patient care on a cardiac PCU focused on congestive heart failure, following nursing processes and clinical standards.

You will also serve as a preceptor and charge nurse when assigned, while supporting professional development and teamwork in a safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required.
• RN (Registered Nurse) license is required.
• ACLS, NIHSS, and PCCN Certification is preferred.
• Associates degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma is required.
• Bachelor degree in Nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently caring for a group of patients using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other health care team members.
• Maintaining professional accountability and development.
• Serving as preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.
