Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff in Birmingham, AL is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro MS assignment in a Med Surg unit. The 13-week contract requires 12-hour night shifts from 18:45 to 07:15 with a 1:6 patient ratio on an 18-bed unit using Cerner EHR.

A minimum of 2 years of RN experience and RN license, plus AHA BLS and AHA NIH certifications, are required. Neuroscience and neurosurgery experience is a must; the role includes floating as needed and weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• RN with 2+ years of experience in a Med Surg or neuroscience setting.
• Experience in Neuro & Neurosurgery is required.
• Cerner EMR experience is preferred.
• BLS and NIH certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a Neuroscience/Med Surg unit.
• Care for neuro/neurosurgery patients with a 1:6 ratio.
• Participate in floating to other areas as needed.
• Maintain unit safety and patient comfort.
