Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an RN for Neuro ICU assignment in Virginia. The 13-week day shift role requires a valid RN license, ACLS/BLS/NIHSS, and at least one year in ICU. Experience with ventilated patients and ICP monitoring is strongly preferred.

Candidates should have Epic charting experience and ideally BSN, with the ability to float within the neuro ICU scope as needed. Candidates must pass compliance checks before starting and will not have time off in the first week.

Must-Have:

• Experience with procedural sedation administration/monitoring

Description: Neuroscience ICU Level 1 experience required.Locals allowed at the same rate.Epic experience: 2 years required.Candidates will float within scope if needed.BSN preferred.Ability to care for patients with diagnoses such as stroke, trauma, seizures, post-craniotomy, CNS infections, neuromuscular diseases, and organ donors is essential.Experience with ICP monitoring is strongly preferred.Overall 3's and 4's in the neuro section of the skills checklist, specifically in stroke care is necessary.Interdisciplinary support includes various therapy and service teams.Candidates must have experience with neuro patients in the ICU setting.Candidates will be required to complete assigned modules.Candidates are not allowed to start with background checks pending.All candidates will be required to adhere to compliance policies.Candidates will need to provide references upon request.No time off will be granted during the first week of the assignment.
