Job summary

MemorialCare Medical Group in Lakewood, CA is seeking an experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its OB/Gyn and Family Medicine practice. This 100% outpatient role offers a base salary range and performance incentives, with hours Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm and no after-hours call.

The provider will perform histories and exams, place contraception, manage prenatal OB care, interpret tests, and work within Epic EMR.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in Women’s Health or related field as a NP or PA; 3+ years preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in Obstetrics strongly preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR system highly preferred
• California Nurse Practitioner and Furnishing licensure or California Physician Assistant license

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations.
• Implant contraception (e.g., IUD placement, Nexplanon, etc.)
• See new OB patients. Provide prenatal care throughout all stages of pregnancy.
• Interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests

Base Salary Range*:$126,000 to $158,000

• Average 15 to 21 patients per day

Experience

• Current BLS
