Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for a night shift at our Orange City, Florida facility. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, implement and evaluate care plans, and administer medications with a focus on patient safety.

Collaboration with the healthcare team is essential to deliver high-quality care and positive outcomes. Responsibilities include patient education, documentation, infection control, and continuous professional development.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing required.
• BLS certification required; advanced certifications preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and care planning skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and family.
• Proficiency with electronic health records and standard software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments across physiological, psychological, and social domains.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans; regularly evaluate and revise as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments safely per physician orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments and self-care.
• Coordinate with medical staff and departments to optimize patient care and communication.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care activities, interventions and outcomes.
