Job summary

AdventHealth in Orange City, Florida, is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift. Eligible clinicians have opportunities for salary increases through our Clinical Ladder Program based on experience and advancement criteria.

Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, care planning, medication administration, patient education, and collaboration with medical staff to optimize outcomes. RN licensure and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with an Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• 1+ year of acute hospital experience.
• Active Florida RN license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.
• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
