Qualifications

• Licensed physicians or licensed professionals in psychology, social work, counseling, or nursing.
• Experience with intake, assessment and crisis intervention in psychiatric settings.
• Knowledge of crisis intervention and risk assessment; ability to work with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephonic and in-person risk assessment and crisis intervention.
• Coordinate referral and intake processes, determine appropriate level of care.
• Facilitate admission and maintain communication with referral sources, families, patients and unit staff.
