Job summary

Methodist Hospital Northeast is seeking an experienced RN Navigator in Emergency Services to support patient flow and throughput in the ED, advancing safety and quality of care within a fast-paced environment.

The role requires an RN with an associate degree or diploma, Texas license, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC/NIHSS; BSN preferred. Minimum 1 year of ED- or hospital-based experience is required.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma -required.
• Bachelor's/BSN in Nursing.
• RN License to practice in Texas or Active Multi-State RN Compact.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS all required.
• Minimum 1+ year of applicable experience required.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Patient Flow Coordinator ensures high quality, patient-centered care by facilitating the throughput of patients within the Emergency Department to provide optimum efficiency of department resources and timely management of patient care. The Patient Flow Coordinator supports patient safety initiatives and quality improvement activities that promote the vision, mission, and values of the organization.

What qualifications you will need:

• -Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma -required
• -Bachelors Degree in Nursing
• - preferred
• -RN License to practice as a professional registered nurse in the state of Texas or Active Multi-State RN Compact License.
• -BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS all required
• -Minimum 1+ year of applicable experience required.
