Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an RN for MS Tele in Omaha, a night shift position caring for adult oncology patients undergoing chemotherapy. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience, EPIC charting proficiency, and the ability to float to different units. BLS is mandatory, ACLS preferred.
Travel nurses must meet facility staffing needs. The assignment is 13 weeks with options for 36 or 48 hours per week, night shift, and 12-hour shifts.

Description:This is a night shift position with options for 36 or 48 hours per week.Travelers are expected to float frequently to meet the staffing needs of the facility.The unit serves adult oncology patients receiving chemotherapy or high-dose chemotherapy, with or without bone marrow or stem cell transplants.Nurses will be caring for mixed acuity patients and should be prepared to handle up to five medical-surgical patients.Patient ratios are 1:4 during the day and 1:5 during the night.Travelers do not administer chemotherapy.RNs must have two years of prior experience, preferably in a large urban hospital.Drips are required on all floors, and familiarity with EPIC charting is necessary.Candidates must not have any gaps of more than one year between permanent and travel positions.Weekend shifts consist of four weekend shifts out of eight possible in a four-week period.Holiday requirements include working two out of three major holidays.This facility is a 100% nicotine-free environment.Candidates must be more than 100 miles from the facility.Pending licensure is accepted, provided the license is obtained before starting.Scrubs are required in specified colors and styles, which will be detailed to selected candidates.This is a multidisciplinary unit with support teams including IV teams, physical therapy, and pharmacy, among others.Candidates should have experience in a Level 1 trauma facility within the last year and a strong background in oncology care.
