Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Med-Surg RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Waycross, GA. The role requires 2+ years of Med-Surg experience, an active RN license, and BLS. Shift is 07:00–19:00 with 12-hour shifts; weekends/holidays rotation is expected.

Unit has 24 beds with a 1:6 patient ratio. Documentation uses Meditech Expanse; travelers may be asked to float to other Med-Surg units as needed.

Description:Traveler shall be scheduled in accordance with facility policy.The traveler is expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.One year of consecutive working experience is acceptable.Unit has 24 beds with a patient ratio of 1:6.Unit staff includes a unit secretary on day shift and patient care technicians with a ratio of 1:8 or 1:12.Standard hospital equipment is utilized on the unit.The documentation system used is Meditech Expanse.Scheduling requires working 2 weekends per month.The floating policy includes floating to other Med-Surg units or floating to the emergency department to care for Med-Surg holds.Floating to ICU or PCU may be required to care for Med-Surg level patients.Bedside shift report and safety rounding are part of the patient experience requirements.No specific procedures are performed in the unit.Navy blue is the required uniform.Unit specific policies and guidelines are mandated.Staff members report a caring and compassionate culture within the organization.Management is well-regarded and treatment towards patients and families is commendable.Employees appreciate rewards provided through the employee recognition programs.The surrounding region is known for its scenic wildlife, hiking trails, museums, and unique architecture.
