Description:The unit consists of a total of 67 beds, with 30 beds dedicated to orthopedic care and 37 beds for medical-surgical patients.The typical patient ratio is usually 6:1.Support staff includes Patient Care Technicians and Secretaries during the day shift hours.The primary documentation system used is Meditech.Full-time staff are required to work 4 weekend shifts within a 4-week scheduling increment.Floating to other inpatient units may be required.Patients may be admitted from various departments, including CCU and ED.All levels of experience are welcome to apply.The unit supports bed-side procedures, though less frequently compared to critical areas.Required uniform includes scrub tops and bottoms, excluding fleece, hoodies, or denim.Long sleeve shirts under scrub tops or scrub jackets are permitted.Candidates are encouraged to explore the unit's supportive environment, which features experienced staff and new equipment.The unit is recognized for its commitment to patient care and team collaboration.
