Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care on Med-Surg unit.
• Monitor and document patient status; manage IVs and lines.
• Perform procedures such as PIV, central line, Foley, NG as needed.
• Support patient education and discharge planning.

Unit Information:Med-Surg Unit has 24 beds and a staff of 7.Staff includes day shift (1 charge, 4 nurses, 2 PCTs, 1 unit clerk) and night shift (1 charge, 4 nurses, 2 PCTs).Patient ratios are 6:1.
