Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an RN for Medical Surgical units on the night shift for a 20-week assignment in Georgia. This role requires a state nursing license, ACLS/BLS/NIHSS certifications, and at least 2 years of experience. Night shifts run 12 hours with a 6:1 patient ratio emphasis.
Weekend coverage is required every other weekend; travel and major holiday work may be involved. Compliance and charting system experience are important for timely start and smooth operation.

Description:UNIT DETAILS:Diagnoses include, but are not limited to, chest pain, hip/knee surgery, altered mental status, small bowel obstruction, urinary tract infection, respiratory distress, pancreatitis, pneumonia, pulmonary embolism, congestive heart failure, sepsis, acute kidney injury, encephalopathy, ascites, COVID-19, and anemia.
Weekend coverage is required every other weekend.No call is required.Floating within facility/scope of practice may be necessary as needed.
Travelers may be expected to work major holidays during their assignment.Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's.
FULL compliance is required to start on time.If not compliant in time, the start date may be pushed back by 2 weeks due to scheduling.
The unit has an average daily census of 26.Staffing support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and unit secretary.
Patient age groups consist of adults and geriatrics.Patient ratios are maintained at 6 patients per nurse during day and night shifts.
