Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 13-week Medical-Surgical assignment. The RN will work day/night rotate shifts on a 39-bed unit with a 4:1 patient ratio under the supervision of a Charge Nurse. Must hold an active RN license and BLS certification, with experience titrating drips including Heparin.

Flexibility with scheduling is appreciated; rotations and holidays required. Typically, assignments require 2–3 days off when switching between nights and days.

Description:Unit has 39 beds.Nurse to patient ratios are 4:1.Charge Nurse may have an assignment at times.Respiratory Therapy manages all respiratory needs.There are no ventilators on this unit.Telemetry is monitored by tele/monitor techs.RNs do not interpret their own strips.Requests for scheduling are accepted based on departmental needs.Flexibility with requests off and shift preferences may be accommodated, but guarantees are not provided.Typically, 2 to 3 days off are preferred when switching from nights to days.Every other weekend and holiday commitment is required.Floating is only to areas with medical patients.Scrub color or dress code is flexible.Cancellation policy allows for 2 shifts per 13-week assignment.Charting system used is MEDITECH.
