Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a Medical-Surgical unit in California. The assignment is 13 weeks, with 12-hour night shifts and a 36-hour week. Description:The clinical team will conduct interviews with candidates.Candidates must have 3-4 years of experience.A strong, humble, fast-paced, and positive attitude is essential.The unit has 55 beds with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 5 to 1.Charge nurses do not take patients.Nurse aides are available based on patient census.Weekend work is required every other weekend.Holidays must be worked into the permanent staff holiday rotation.Scrub color is navy.Candidates must be able to read EKG strips and be comfortable working with telemetry patients.IV and PICC teams are available during the day.Respiratory therapy and pharmacy services are available 24/7.Shifts are 12 hours in length.Floating between MedSurg units may be required.Common patient diagnoses are related to medical surgical care.Night shift applicants must possess 2 years of solid MedSurg experience.Day shift applicants must have 3-4 years of experience.The facility has a cancellation policy that allows for a limited number of shift cancellations within a given assignment.Charting is conducted using Cerner.BSN is not required.A valid license is necessary.This position is in an acute care setting.
