Description:Registered Nurse needed for a Medical Surgical unit.Position involves working 3 nights per week with every third weekend required.Patient ratio is 1:5-6.First-time travelers are accepted.Patient diagnoses can include CHF, COPD, SBO, Sepsis, Stroke, DM, ortho, chest pain, and wounds.The unit supports interdisciplinary services such as physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, and pharmacy.Candidates must not live within a 70-mile radius of the facility.Travelers will need to complete an OSHA respirator clearance prior to starting.Travelers are required to be clean-shaven for fit testing of masks.All clinicians must complete modules prior to starting.Candidates cannot work past one year as a traveler without a break of six months.
