Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Milford, MA is hiring a registered nurse to provide direct patient care using the nursing process across shifts. The role requires MA nursing licensure, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and possibly NRP, with a BSN preferred.

You will assess patients, develop care plans, discharge planning, and supervise care under policy. This non-exempt, full-time position includes a competitive hourly rate ($37.75–$79.52) with prorated compensation for part-time hours, and potential signing bonus.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS through AHA or ARC is required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS required in select areas within 6 months or first course offering.
• PALS required in select areas within 6 months or first course offering.
• NRP Advanced Provider required in select areas within 6 months or first course offering.
• BSN highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for delivery and management of patient care from admission to discharge.
• Performs patient assessment and reassessment according to standard procedure.
• Develops and coordinates individual care plans including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluates nursing care in assigned setting.
• Delegates tasks appropriately to team members per competency.

Hiring Range: $37.75 - $79.52

(based on a full time schedule of 40 hours per week).

Please note that the final offer will vary based on scheduled hours. Compensation for part-time or reduced schedules will be prorated based on scheduled weekly hours, experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.
