Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Gannett/Milford Regional Medical Center unit in Milford, MA. The role focuses on planning, delivery, and management of direct patient care using the nursing process across all ages within the unit.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, discharge planning, and supervising care, with appropriate delegation. A Massachusetts license, BLS, and select certifications are required, with further certifications as needed.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS through American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS through AHA required in select areas within 6 months or first scheduled course offering.
• PALS through AHA required in select areas within 6 months or first scheduled course offering.
• NRP Advanced Provider through AAP required in select areas within 6 months or first scheduled course offering.

• Utilizes the nursing process for delivery and management of patient care from admission to discharge.
• Performs patient assessment and reassessment according to standard procedure.
• Develops and coordinates individual plan of care including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluates nursing care within the assigned clinical setting.
