Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Milford, MA is hiring registered nurses to provide direct patient care using the Nursing Process from admission to discharge. You will perform assessments, plan discharge needs, and coordinate care within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of the discipline of Nursing.
• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required for every RN within 30 days of hire; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required in select areas.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for delivery and management of patient care from admission to discharge.
• Performs patient assessment/reassessment according to standard procedure.
• Develops and coordinates individual plan of care including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluates nursing care within the assigned setting.
