Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Milford, MA is hiring registered nurses to provide direct patient care using the nursing process from admission to discharge.

The role requires MA nursing licensure, BLS, ACLS/PALS in select areas, and NRP for certain units, with a preferred BSN. Signing bonus may be available and schedule includes night shifts.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration required.
• BLS through AHA or ARC required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS through AHA required in select areas within 6 months or first scheduled course offering.
• PALS through AHA required in select areas within 6 months or first scheduled course offering.
• NRP Advanced Provider through AAP required in select areas within 6 months or first scheduled course offering.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for delivery and management of patient care from admission to discharge.
• Performs patient assessment and reassessment according to standard procedures.
• Develops and coordinates individual plans of care including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluates nursing care within the assigned clinical setting.
• Delegates appropriately to others in accordance with job description and competency level.
