Job summary

Medical City Lewisville is seeking an experienced RN for the Mother Baby Unit on a Full Time Night shift. The Staff RN will provide direct nursing care, assess patient needs, plan interventions and evaluate outcomes in collaboration with families and the health care team.

The RN will include charge duties, supervising LVNs and non-licensed staff, and ensuring adherence to department standards and policies. Previous Mother Baby/Women's experience is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of start date
• Neonate Resuscitation within 90 days
• STABLE within 60 days
• RN: Registered Nurse credential
• ADN required; BSN preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with Medical City Lewisville policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with patient, family and health care team to assess needs, plan interventions and evaluate outcomes.
• RN scope includes charge duties, supervising LVN and non-licensed staff, and ensuring care quality.
