Job summary

Qualifications

• Grad of Accredited Program.
• RN License.
• 2 years of recent Mother Baby RN experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or obtain within 30 days of hire or transfer.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or obtain within 60 days of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• As an RN, oversee patient care using a professional practice model. Responsibilities include patient assessment, recognizing health issues, creating care plans, and assessing patient responses.
• Conduct detailed clinical assessments and prioritize patient and family needs. Create, implement, and evaluate care plans.
• Educate patients, families, nurses, and community members; empower them with knowledge for better healthcare choices.
• Delegate tasks based on condition and team competencies and follow up.
• Work with colleagues and community to create a care plan, delegating tasks carefully and ensuring safety.
