Job summary

LaborEdge, LLC seeks a Registered Nurse for NICU and Labor and Delivery assignments in Pittsburgh. This assignment is a 13-week contract with 3×12-hour shifts per week, rotating between day and night duties to support high-quality obstetric and neonatal care.

The RN will provide compassionate care to mothers and newborns, assist with labor and delivery procedures, and ensure smooth transitions from labor and delivery to nursery while adhering to hospital protocols.

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse licensure is required.
• Experience in Labor and Delivery and NICU is preferred.
• Current certifications in BLS and NRP are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in NICU and Labor and Delivery settings, supporting laboring mothers and newborns.
• Assist with labor and delivery procedures including vaginal births and C-sections.
• Deliver couplet care for mothers and newborns and monitor infant transitions to nursery.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and patient advocacy.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide compassionate and high-quality care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Labor and Delivery settings. Responsibilities include supporting laboring mothers, managing adult patients, and delivering couplet care, with a focus on transitioning infants and caring for newborns in the nursery.

Responsibilities
