Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Mother Baby Unit in Georgia. The 12-hour day shift runs from 7 AM to 7 PM, with a 40-bed unit serving about 4,000 deliveries annually.

You will provide family-centered care to mothers and newborns, participate in interdisciplinary planning, and educate families on newborn care and breastfeeding. RN experience in MBU and BLS/NRP are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Mother Baby Unit or related specialty.
• Valid AHA BLS and NRP certifications are required.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional care to mothers and their newborns, ensuring a family-centered approach to health care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for mothers and newborns.
• Implement and maintain family-centered care principles.
• Monitor and assess maternal and infant health conditions.
• Educate families on newborn care and breastfeeding.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care planning.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Holiday Expectations

Candidates must be available to work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day) and 1 minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve).
