Job description

7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week, with a guaranteed 24 hours. Note that one shift may be canceled per week due to low census.

Job Description

As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will be based at NCMC and may float to BFCMC as needed. This role requires proficiency in triage, couplet care for mothers and babies postpartum, circulating in the OR, and attending to baby admits and deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns throughout the delivery process.
• Perform triage and couplet care as necessary.
• Attend and assist in deliveries as needed.
• Adhere to weekend, holiday, float, and call requirements per departmental guidelines.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 24 months of Labor and Delivery experience, with recent experience within the last 12 months.
• Active certifications in ACLS, BLS, AWHONN/AFM, and NRP from an approved vendor.
• A valid state nursing license with no hits or violations.
• Driver's license to verify residency.
• Flu vaccination status must be documented.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
