Job summary

Endeavor Health seeks an RN - Mother Baby to cover per diem shifts in Arlington Heights, IL. You will provide patient assessments, coordinate care plans, and communicate with patients, families and team members during 7pm–7:30am hours.

Requirements include an Associate's or BSN, Illinois licensure, and current CPR certification. Per diem role with competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Illinois nursing license.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
• Coordinates patient plan of care to assure interventions are safe, timely and appropriate.
• Communicates clearly with patients and colleagues in person, over the phone and in writing.
• Individualizes patient and family teaching based on assessment.
• Participates in evaluating nursing practice through quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintains professional knowledge of current nursing practice standards, laws and regulations.

Hourly Pay Range

Hourly Pay Range: $37.25 - $57.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights

• Position: RN - Mother Baby - Per Diem
• Location: Arlington Heights, IL
• Full Time/Part Time: Per Diem
• Hours: 7pm-7:30am
• Per Diem Commitment Level: 32-72 hours per 6-week schedule
• Required Travel: No

What you will do

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
• Coordinates patient plan of care to assure interventions are consistent, safe, timely and appropriate.
• Communicates clearly and effectively with all customers, in person, on the phone and in writing.
• Individualizes patient and family teaching based on a thorough assessment to meet their specific learning needs.
• Participates in evaluating quality and effectiveness of nursing practice by participating in quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintains professional knowledge in current nursing practice standards, laws and regulations.

What you will need

• Education: Successful completion of an Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing
• License: Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Illinois
• Certification: Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association
