Cynet Health is seeking an experienced RN for MICU on a 13-week contract in Seattle. The unit handles high-acuity adult patients, including complex ICU cases, transplant-related needs, and multi-system instability.
Shifts are 3x12 hours (day or night) with 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratios and occasional floating within the hospital. Ideal candidates hold an active RN license with ACLS/BLS, at least two years in an ICU setting, and comfort with end-of-life care.

Description:The position is for a Registered Nurse in the Medical and Oncology ICU.The unit cares for patients with complex needs, including adult respiratory distress syndrome, multi-system organ failure, septic shock, GI bleeding, complicated pregnancy, oncology, renal failure, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.This role emphasizes family-centered care, especially for patients requiring transplant services.Travelers should be comfortable with high-acuity patients and end-of-life scenarios.The unit maintains patient ratios of 1:2.Floating may occur within the hospital to acute care units.An interdisciplinary support team is available, including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and social services.Shifts will include weekend requirements.Candidates should possess experience in chemotherapy administration and ventilator management.Prior experience in medical ICU settings is strongly preferred.
