Job summary

LaborEdge, LLC is seeking an experienced MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse to join a 70-bed rural facility for a 13-week assignment. The RN will provide care in telemetry, float to ICU or other units as needed, and support a house supervisor at all times.

The role requires 2+ years of RN telemetry experience, WV or Compact license, and BCLS/ACLS; PALS preferred. Night shift, 4x12 hour days, with every other weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years RN experience with telemetry.
• Active WV RN license or Compact license.
• BCLS and ACLS required; PALS preferred.
• Travel nursing experience not required but a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in telemetry with 1:5 ratio.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

4x12 hour shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, including weekdays and every other weekend. Must be flexible with floating to other units as needed.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team at a 70-bed rural facility. The ideal candidate will have expertise in acute care and telemetry, as well as experience in pediatric and adolescent patient care. As the RN, you may float to other units, including ICU, to meet patient care needs. A house supervisor is available for support at all times.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a telemetry setting with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Prepare and maintain accurate patient records and charting utilizing Cerner EMR.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, with a strong background in telemetry.
• Current RN license in West Virginia or a Compact License.
• Certifications: BCLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required; PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) preferred.
• Experience in a travel nursing role is not required but is a plus.
