Job summary

SoftPath Medical is seeking an experienced MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract. Shifts are 3x12 or 4x12 nights, with float to ER and ICU as needed. The unit is a rural 70-bed facility with a 1:5 patient-to-nurse ratio and 24/7 House Supervisor support.

Required: telemetry experience in acute care, BCLS and ACLS; preferred: PALS. Minimum 2 years of nursing experience and ability to care for pediatric/adolescent patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide telemetry monitoring for adult and pediatric patients as needed.
• Float to ER and ICU as requested to meet patient care needs.
• Maintain a 1:5 patient-to-nurse ratio on night shifts.
• Follow schedule: 3x12 or 4x12 night shifts, 6:45pm–7:15am.

Unit Description

70-bed rural facility. Travelers must have experience and knowledge in acute care and telemetry, as well as the ability to care for occasional pediatric and adolescent patients. LPNs are utilized on the night shift alongside RNs. RNs may be floated to other units, including ICU, to meet patient care needs. House Supervisor support is available 24/7. Patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:5.
