Job summary

The MS/Tele RN will provide nursing care to a diverse adult patient population in a 37-bed unit, including post-operative transplant patients and those requiring cardiac monitoring. This 13-week contract position features a night shift (19:00 - 07:00), with every other weekend and potential float shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, with at least 1 year in MS/Tele.
• Current RN license in West Virginia or Compact RN license (pending applications accepted).
• BLS and ACLS certifications required. Telemetry experience preferred.

Job Description

The MS/Tele RN will be responsible for providing nursing care to a diverse adult patient population in a 37-bed unit. The patient population will range from uncomplicated to sub-critical conditions, including post-operative transplant patients and those requiring cardiac monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care and maintain monitoring of vital signs and health statuses.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and updated patient records using Cerner charting system.
• Participate in clinical assessments and develop patient care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, with at least 1 year in a similar specialty.
• Current RN license in West Virginia or Compact RN license (pending applications accepted).
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience with telemetry and monitoring preferred.
