Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for Med Surg in Kennewick, WA. This 13-week contract requires a WA RN license, BLS, ACLS or rhythm interpretation, and a minimum of 2 years med-surg experience.

You’ll perform and document EKG monitoring, respiratory assessments, and patient education while collaborating with clinicians. Night shifts run 19:00–07:00 with 12-hour shifts and two weekend shifts every two weeks.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Washington state.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification or rhythm interpretation course required.
• Minimum 2 years med-surg experience.
• Experience with EKG/cardiac monitoring and respiratory assessments.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients’ vital signs and health status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Conduct respiratory assessments and provide support.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Med Surg team. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality care to a diverse patient population, focusing on geriatrics and adults. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care, promote positive patient outcomes, and ensure adherence to established protocols and standards.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients' vital signs and health status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of med-surg experience.
• Experience with EKG/cardiac monitoring and respiratory assessments.
