Job Description
The Travel Medical/Surgical RN will be responsible for providing nursing care in a general medical-surgical inpatient nursing unit. The position requires the ability to manage a patient ratio of 1:6 and the flexibility to float as needed.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients.
- Monitor patient conditions and provide updates to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Document all patient interactions and updates in the EMR (MedHost).
- Participate in team discussions and contribute to patient care planning.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- 2+ years of experience in Med/Surg nursing.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required; PALS certification preferred.
- Fingerprinting for all NM travelers is required.
