Job summary

Texas Health Resources in Fort Worth is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Medical Tele unit. This full-time role is scheduled 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, totaling 36 hours per week, with weekend and holiday requirements. You will provide direct patient care using the Nursing Process in a high-acuity telemedicine environment.

Required associates degree in nursing with RN licensure; BSN preferred. One year of RN experience or completion of an RN residency, ACLS, BCLS, CPI training within stated

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program or Nursing Diploma.
• BSN preferred.
• One year RN experience or completion of an RN residency.
• Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing.
• BCLS (AHA) prior to independent patient care and maintained quarterly.
• ACLS within 90 days of hire.
• CPI training within 90 days of hire.
• 2+ years Med/Surg RN experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Strong med/surg experience including charge/preceptor skills.

Responsibilities

• Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process.
• Assesses the patient.
• Plans the care of the patient.
• Intervenes as appropriate.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions.
• Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures.
• Initiates action to meet patient information needs.
• Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift and during transfers.
