RWJBarnabas Health's Newark Beth Israel Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Medical-Surgical Unit-I. This full-time day shift role offers growth, teamwork, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, safe medication administration, documentation in EPIC, interdisciplinary rounds, and patient education to support the next phase of care.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing or Multistate RN License with NJ endorsement.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is strongly preferred.
• Experience with Post Cardiac Cath and Cardiac Procedure populations is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes to intervene appropriately.
• Administer safe, evidence-based medications and provide hands-on care.
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced providers to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families clearly to support informed care decisions.
• Document accurately in the EMR to ensure continuity and safety.
• Contribute to interdisciplinary rounds to improve communication and transitions of care.
• Participate in a collaborative team environment and pursue ongoing professional growth.
