Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as an RN in Massachusetts.
• 1+ years of RN experience preferred.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification required in certain units.
• Nursing degree: Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred). BSN within 4 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Medical Surgical unit including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation, and patient education.
• Communicate with the health care team, patients, and families.
• Coordinate and delegate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues.
• Update and manage patient records
• Enter and interpret computerized data
• Follow unit policies and guidelines
• Assist leadership with quality improvement projects
