Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for acute care in our East Valley facilities. The RN will assess patients, develop and implement care plans, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and provide high-quality nursing care on a 12-hour night or day shift schedule.

Night differential applies and weekend rotations may occur. Ideal candidates hold an active RN license in the state, BLS, and prior acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Must possess an active RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, and discharge planning needs.
• Formulate and update the plan of care with input from patient, family, and health team.
• Implement and supervise nursing care per physician orders and care plans.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust plan of care as needed.
• Document assessments, care provided, and patient responses in the chart.
