Job summary

Olympia Fields Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department in Olympia Fields, IL. The role requires delivering safe patient care using the nursing process and coordinating with physicians on patient conditions in telemetry.

Evening shift, full-time, with a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000. Eligible candidates should hold an RN license, BLS, ALS, and PALS certifications, with BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• Active BLS, ALS and PALS certifications.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Certifications in TNCC and ENPC are desired.
• ECRN/MICN/NRP certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process in Telemetry and the Emergency Department.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
• Communicate patient condition changes to physicians and document results.
• Ensure EMTALA compliance and report child/adult abuse as required.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
