Qualifications

• RN licensure in state of employment
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• NIHSS certification within 6 months of hire or transfer
• Associates Degree in Nursing or higher

Responsibilities

• Assess physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs
• Evaluate patient responses and adjust care
• Develop and implement care plans with interdisciplinary team
• Demonstrate competency in IVs, wound care, meds, catheterization, specimen collection
• Maintain and document patient charts and outcomes accurately
