Job summary

Mercy is seeking an RN for Medical Stepdown on the night shift (FT). The role focuses on delivering patient-centered care using the nursing process, coordinating with multiple departments, and evaluating care effectiveness. You will uphold patient rights and confidentiality while maintaining accountability for care provided by the team.

Education requirements include an RN degree (AD, Diploma, or BSN) and an active RN license (or compact). BLS certification within 30 days is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from a nursing program (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure required.
• Demonstrated commitment to patient confidentiality and professional accountability.

Position Details

RN Medical Stepdown- FT Nights

7:00pm-7:30am

$20,000 Sign On Bonus- Experienced Nurses

$10,000 Sign On Bonus- New Graduates

Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).

Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

Certifications

• Basic Life Support certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

Physical Requirements

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
