Job summary

Mercy in Illinois is seeking an experienced RN for Medical Stepdown on the night shift (7:00pm-7:30am). You will utilize the nursing process to provide high-quality patient care, evaluate outcomes, and coordinate with other departments while upholding patient rights and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Maintain current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
• Must meet state board of nursing requirements.

$20,000 Sign On Bonus- Experienced Nurses

$10,000 Sign On Bonus- New Graduates

Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).

Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

Certifications:

• Basic Life Support certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

Physical Requirements:

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
