Job summary

Mercy is seeking an RN for Medical Stepdown on FT nights in Kirkwood, MO. You will provide patient care using the nursing process, maintain confidentiality, and collaborate with other departments to coordinate care.

Responsibilities include evaluating care effectiveness, ensuring patient rights, and upholding Mercy Service Standards while delivering compassionate nursing in a busy hospital setting. Licensure in Missouri is required; ADN/ Diploma/ BSN are accepted.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a school of nursing (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• RN licensure in Missouri and/or compact licensure as applicable.
• Basic Life Support certification or completion within 30 days of hire.

7:00pm-7:30am

$20,000 Sign On Bonus- Experienced Nurses

$10,000 Sign On Bonus- New Graduates

Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).

Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

Certifications:

• Basic Life Support certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

Physical Requirements:

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
