Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical Observation Unit in Arlington Heights, IL. You will work 7:00am to 7:30pm in a per diem capacity, providing patient assessment, care planning, and teaching to patients and families.

The role requires an Associate's degree or BSN, active Illinois nursing license, and CPR certification. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are included for eligible positions.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing, required.
• Current licensure to practice nursing in Illinois, required.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association, required.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
• Coordinates patient plan of care to assure interventions are consistent, safe, timely and appropriate.
• Communicates clearly and effectively with all customers, in person, on the phone and in writing.
• Individualizes patient and family teaching based on a thorough assessment to meet their specific learning needs.
• Participates in evaluating quality and effectiveness of nursing practice by participating in quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintains professional knowledge in current nursing practice standards, laws and regulations.
