Job summary
Corewell Health is seeking an RN to join the Taylor Hospital Short Stay Unit. The role involves delivering patient-centered nursing care, assessing needs, and coordinating discharge planning under the Nurse Leader. You will collaborate with providers and staff to ensure safety and quality outcomes.
Requirements include an RN license in Michigan, an associates or diploma in nursing, and BLS; ACLS/TNCC/ENPC are expected within specified timelines. Full-time, day shift, 36 weekly hours.
Qualifications
- Associates or Diploma in Nursing required.
- Bachelors in Nursing required within 5 years if new graduate/nurse with less than one year experience.
- MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required.
- Graduates from a non-accredited school of nursing must have NCLEX licensure.
- ACLS within 6 months of hire/transfer.
- TNCC within 1 year of hire/transfer.
- ENPC within 15 months of hire/transfer.
- Specialty Certification highly recommended within 2 years.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process and patient-family centered care principles.
- Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge with guidance from Nurse Leader.
- Collaborate with care team to ensure quality patient outcomes and teach patient/family.
