Corewell Health is seeking an RN for 2 West at Taylor Hospital. The unit includes a 23-bed Med Surg and 23-bed Post-Surgical area with a 5–6 patient ratio, mentoring for new RNs, and a focus on patient-family centered care.

The role requires BSN within 5 years, MN RN licensure, BLS on hire, and certification within 2 years. Day shift, 36 hours weekly, with every-other weekend in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required.
• BSN must be obtained within 5 years.
• Non-accredited school grads: at least 1 year acute care or 2 years in licensed role and NCLEX.
• MI RN license required.
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• Specialty certification recommended within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with Nurse Leader and care team.
• Incorporate patient/family input into plan of care.
• Document education and learning in health record.
